Khao Kheow Open Zoo and Night Safari in Cholburi (150 km east of Bangkok) was established as a unit of the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand on June 1st, 1978 as an open zoo with an area of 5,000 Rai or 2000 acres. |
| In the Khao Kheow animal sanctuary, there are 300 species of animals with a population of 6000 lives.Include bears, elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, snakes, barking deer etc. |
